These are the initial sketches. They're all over the place.
These sketches are based on the unification of monopoly as a city. There is an obvious city element here, but it is simplified into varying rectangles.
This sketch is based on one idea: Monopoly is about the flux of wealth. This flux is directed by movement throughout the board. I attempted to use modernist principles to convey these ideas.
